Within the sacred verses of the Bhagavad Gita, I've found it's wisdom whispering my life's purpose, filling me with a sense of direction. Like a compass, it steers me towards a life rich in meaning and goodness.
Therefore, without being attached to the fruits of activities, one should act as a matter of duty, for by working without attachment one attains the Supreme.
You have the right to work only, but never to its fruits. Let not the fruits of action be your motive, nor let your attachment be to inaction.
The mind is the cause of all actions, and desire arises from the intellect. Therefore, the mind with its desires is the great source of all actions.
It's better to fulfill your own duties with the right attitude, even if the outcome is imperfect, than to engage in actions that are not your responsibility.
